A little bit about me behind the lens:
I am a wife to an amazing husband, a mama to two littles, a craft beer enthusiast, and I'm a sucker for a good cup of coffee (much needed when you've got two kiddos under 3!). Most of my free time is spent with family, getting outside, and the very occasional opportunity for a golf or brewery date with my husband.
As a newborn and family photographer serving the Woodbury and east Twin Cities metro, I look forward to creating moments that capture the real you and where you're at in your journey. I love to catch those beautiful, fun, candid moments that give an authentic and timeless feel to your photos.

What is your photography style?
I consider my photography style to be warm, organic, and emotionally driven. My focus isn't on elaborate setups or heavy styling, it's on real relationships, gentle moments, and the quiet beauty of growing families.
As far as editing style goes, I aim for light and airy tones using soft natural light. I prefer to work with a neutral, earth-toned color palette (creams, warm whites, soft greens, beige, denim, etc.). This helps to create a cohesive look that feels timeless and calm.
What is your favorite thing about photography?
Easily my favorite thing about photography is getting to know my clients. I will treat you professionally at all times, but I also want the vibes to feel like we've known each other forever. Making you feel comfortable is part of the session, and helps you feel like you can open up and allow me to capture those authentic moments of laughter and fun.
I also love getting to follow my clients through each stage of their life. Creating meaningful moments from your first moments in pregnancy, your glowing bump, to the newborn snuggles.
Why should I book you instead of another photographer?
It's easy to say that pricing is the reason you book a specific photographer, but is that really the truth? No. You're not going to pick a photographer based only on pricing, you want to pick a newborn and family photographer that matches your vibes and style. If you want someone who's going to treat you like family, who puts care and effort into creating a positive and stress-free experience for you, and believes in capturing your life exactly as it is - then that's why you should hire me.
I provide relaxed, low-pressure sessions with gentle direction rather than constant posing. My goal as your newborn and family photographer is to create a space where families can simply exist without overthinking it.
How far are you willing to travel for photos?
I am always open to chat about traveling anywhere for photos, but generally I will include up to about a 30-mile radius around the Lakeville and Farmington areas for no extra charge. Anything beyond that is case-by-case and dependent on studio fees (if applicable), session type, and session length.
I include a space on all of my contact forms for your address or location so that I can let you know in advance if I feel a session requires additional travel fees, and I am transparent about what those fees amount to so that you have the full investment picture prior to booking.
Are you open to other session types not listed on your website?
Yes! I am always happy to chat about other session types and can come up with custom pricing based on what you are looking for.
Some common session types I get asked about, but don't specifically list are baby milestones, gender reveals, proposals, courthouse weddings, etc. Just because they aren't listed doesn't mean that I won't do them! I love to do new things, but will also let you know if it isn't something I feel comfortable or confident in capturing.
What are some other fun facts about you?
I'm a die-hard MN Vikings fan (not a fair weather kind of girl - I love my winter warriors through thick and thin), anything with peanut butter in it has my heart, and I have a photographic (ironic) memory for random facts.
